Why spend 1.3+ million dollars to purchase and tear down residential properties? Why not use some of the 30-plus acres of public land CUSD 220 already owns?
Why wasn't this in Referendum 2024? How did they not know at that time that they needed 40 more parking spaces?

How does rezoning this space from residential to public lands align with Barrington's Comprehensive Plan, which strives to "maintain the existing scale and character of each neighborhood and to minimize encroachment..."?
